Vince Zampella, a Gaming Pioneer, Has Passed Away in an LA Traffic Collision
The visionary game developer, who helped create the immensely successful first-person shooter Call of Duty, has died in a vehicle crash in the state of California at the age of 55.
Zampella's death was verified by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the video game company which he helped establish.
The influential video game developer died after his automobile collided and burst into flames on a freeway in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, as reported by.
